Ms MAO has a bachelor degree majoring in Accounting from the Southwest Nationalities University, and holds a Masters of Accounting degree from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia.

Prior to joining GNS China, Ms MAO’s experience in the area of accounting and taxation included working for a multinational company that is in charge of nearly 100 subsidiaries around China, a UK based and China focused accounting firm, an Australian insolvency firm, and a supermarket.

Ms MAO has an in-depth understanding of both China and International Accounting Standards.  She is good at financial analysis, report preparation, bookkeeping, the setting-up of accounting reporting systems, GAAP adjustment etc.  She is also very proficient with several types of financial information systems like Kindee, UFIDA, GSP, and MYOB.

Ms MAO's strengths are in her ability to integrate accounting processes and streamline reporting systems for international companies in the China market both from a compliance and management reporting perspective.

Currently, she is an Associate Member of CPA Australia, and will become a Full Member in 2010.
